Calendar view not showing
Date API views Calendar events show display

The only way to get content that has Date CCK information attachedd to it to show up is to actually add "Date: Time" to the calendar view.

Which is sort of weird.

I3IVIIVI (9:32:04 AM): You have to include a Date: field of the kind we're using
Dan Hak (smoothblendz) (9:32:21 AM): well, that's super obvious
Dan Hak (smoothblendz) (9:32:23 AM): damn!
I3IVIIVI (9:32:27 AM): it's weird, but it won't display unless there's a Date: Action Start Time or something in the Fields
I3IVIIVI (9:33:00 AM): no, it's not that obvious-- that's (to me) a filter, or an argument-- but apparently the Calendar view type considers it mandatory
Dan Hak (smoothblendz) (9:33:10 AM): i figured the dates shouldnt need to be in a field

It's technically a time (provided by Date CCK) that had to be provided as a field (with "group multiple values" turned off, by the way).
